MGM | Module Setup

What makes Feversocial's MGM different?

We offer two mechanics: dual-task mode and single-task mode (Refer Reward).

Dual-Task MGM | Break the mold and unlock more ways to play

Single-Task MGM (Refer Reward) | Complete the promo, invite friends, unlock rewards

How do I set up a Dual-Task MGM promo?

*This walkthrough uses a basic Refer-a-Friend Task + New Member Reward module setup as an example

Setting up the Refer-a-Friend Task

  1. Select the "Refer-a-Friend Task" module and click it!

This module is required — it's what tracks each inviter's progress and pays out their rewards.

2. Choose a friend-task type (pick whichever fits your needs)

Every friend task lets you freely set the login method (Facebook / adding as a LINE friend / member login), a sign-up form, and promo prizes

If you choose "Custom Background," keep in mind that screen width and display ratio will affect how much of the background is shown — don't put important copy or images (like a logo) in the background, or they may get cropped off!

4. Design the inviter's reward

There are 2 situations where you can give out a reward

  1. Reward per successful invite: every (single) successful invite earns a fixed reward.
Since this pays out for every successful invite, it works well with a cumulative-type reward, like points or store credit — giving the inviter a small sense of accomplishment right away, motivating them to keep inviting more people.

  2. Reward at a target invite count: hitting a set number of invites unlocks a threshold reward.
If you can't offer a cumulative reward, or want to layer in something more exciting on top of the per-invite reward, turn on this condition.

[Tips]

  • Set a reasonable, gradually increasing invite-count threshold based on your audience — otherwise inviters may feel the goal is out of reach.

  • Group rewards: consider something that's easy to split evenly, or that a group can enjoy together — for example, 6 packs for a group of 5 (including the inviter), or group event tickets.

  • Rewards just for the inviter: a lucky draw with high odds, a coupon, or special VIP treatment

Setting up the New Member Reward

6. Choosing "sign up as a new member" in the Refer-a-Friend Task automatically creates a New Member Reward module

There are 2 sign-up types to choose from: "sign up on the website" and "sign up via app download."

[Sign up on the website]

  • If you choose sign up on the website, you'll need to select "Enterprise Login" under Entry Eligibility — you can also restrict entry to newly registered members only.

Both member login and member sign-up require a completed integration before they can be used

  • Clicking the member sign-up button will automatically reverse into the member login flow.

[Sign up via app download]

You'll need to add a promo entry point inside your app, and complete an auto-login integration

What should go on the task result page?

Here are a few suggestions to consider...

1. Thank them for joining (as a member) or downloading the app

2. Give them a special welcome gift, or point them to a secret shop

3. Give them a next step — for example, share their experience on Instagram after using the product, then enter a draw for a sharing reward

8. Enter invite code settings

You can adjust the button text based on the reasoning you want to give
