What is the in-person promo assistant tool?
Designed for in-person, on-site scenarios — on-site staff control the process and use the tool to issue eligibility to participate.
Supports two participation methods
1. Dynamically generate a QR code
Show the QR code to the consumer to scan, letting them participate using their own device.
Best for: promos with login enabled, or promo types where the prize needs to be tied to an account for later use
*Each QR code becomes invalid once it's used. Even if the promo URL leaks, anyone who obtains that link won't be allowed to participate.
2. Participate on the device itself
After generating a participation ticket, you can choose to let the consumer participate directly on the tool's device, without needing to take out their own device
Best for: scenarios where the participant's identity has already been confirmed in advance, and all that's needed is the prize-draw game animation — typically for promos where the prize is claimed on-site.

Two core features
Feature 1: Eligibility distribution tool link
Brands can flexibly combine 20+ OCEP task modules to design a variety of promo conditions, and let in-store staff grant eligibility to customers on-site
Step 1 | Step 2 | Step 3 |
After confirming eligibility, enter the number of entries | The consumer scans the QR code and enters the promo | Participation complete — claim the reward |
|
|
Feature 2: Prize redemption tool link
Redemption is restricted to the assistant tool only — beyond reducing the chance of a consumer accidentally tapping the redeem button, it also logs who performed the redemption and when
Step 1 | Step 2 | Step 3 |
A consumer participates in the promo and wins a prize that can only be claimed in person | They show the screen at the store for staff to redeem | Redemption complete |

The redemption tool isn't tied to any one promo — a single camera scan works for in-person prizes across all promos. This link can be given separately to staff who only need redemption access, without eligibility-distribution access
How to add staff who can use the tool
If you only want to grant access to the in-person promo assistant tool, choose the "On-Site Staff" permission level.

Every promo's "Manage Promo" section offers a download-log feature, so you can see usage activity from the data.
