Why do you need Prize Safety?
When a brand runs a lucky-draw promo, the most important thing is giving every enthusiastic fan a fair chance to win. To strengthen promo integrity, the system has a built-in monitoring and defense layer that actively detects and blocks abnormal connections, so high-value prizes don't end up in the hands of hackers or bots — protecting real, genuine customers' chances to win.
Turning on Prize Safety gives you the following benefits:
Maximize your marketing budget: Make sure top prizes reach a broad base of real customers, so your brand's rewards are distributed more evenly across your audience.
Fairer promos: Proactively detect and limit abnormal entry behavior, protecting real customers' chances to enter and win.
Core protection features
Grand prize group definition The system gives you an intuitive matrix interface to sort your promo prizes into a "Grand Prize Group" and a "Minor Prize Group." This grouping is the baseline the system uses for resource allocation and fraud detection.
One grand prize per participant Combined with login-based entry, the system locks onto each participant's unique ID. It limits every participant to winning at most one item from the "Grand Prize Group" during the promo, so more participants get a chance at a top-tier reward. Anyone who has already won a grand prize can still keep playing for items in the Minor Prize Group.
Smart IP monitoring Protects the security of your network traffic. The system runs quietly in the background, automatically monitoring how stable and reasonable the incoming traffic looks. When it detects suspicious connection behavior, it immediately activates traffic protection to block the threat and keep the promo's overall odds fair.
* This feature doesn't apply to [Lucky Draw], [Pick a Prize], or [Level-Clear Rewards]. It only works with instant-win-style games (such as Lucky Wheel, Scratch Cards, Poke a Prize, Prize Shower, Slot Game, etc.). If Instant Win has multiple prizes configured, this feature can be used there too.

This guide walks you through turning on Prize Safety and setting up its rules in the Feversocial dashboard, to keep your lucky-draw promo fair.
[Step 1] After setting up your prizes, click "Prize Safety"
In the promo dashboard's "Prize Editing" screen, find Prize Safety. Click the Enable Prize Safety master toggle to begin setup.
[Step 2] Sort prizes into the Grand Prize Group and Minor Prize Group
In the prize matrix, you can further sort each prize as a grand prize or a minor prize.
Make sure every prize has been sorted. If any prize is left "Unsorted," it can't be drawn, and a ⚠️ warning icon will appear at the top of the screen to remind you.
Important: For the fraud-detection mechanism to work correctly, your Minor Prize Group must include at least one prize with "unlimited" quantity (such as a "better luck next time" or participation prize) once this module is enabled. This ensures that anyone filtered out of grand-prize eligibility still has a prize to receive.
[Step 3] Turn on "One grand prize per participant"
If you want more different people to win a grand prize, turn on the One Grand Prize Per Participant toggle.
[Step 4] Turn on "Smart IP Monitoring"
To protect your promo from abnormal traffic, turn on the Smart IP Monitoring toggle and complete the following configuration:
Monitoring interval: Choose a traffic-monitoring interval (hourly / daily) that fits the scale and nature of your promo.
Fraud threshold: Based on the entry volume you expect to be normal, set a reasonable number of entries per IP within that interval. The system will trigger its defense response based on this threshold.
IP allowlist: Add IPs from your office or an in-person event venue to the allowlist, so normal shared-network traffic doesn't get blocked by mistake.
[Step 5] Save your settings and pre-launch checklist
Once all protection rules are configured, click Save.
Adding a prize while the promo is live: If your promo is already live and you need to add a new prize, you must first pause the promo. New prizes default to "Unsorted" — remember to sort them as a grand or minor prize, then relaunch the promo.
Dynamic adjustments: While the promo is running, you can add or edit the "IP allowlist" at any time to quickly resolve any false positives.
