Why reward by audience?
Say goodbye to a one-size-fits-all prize pool! With our newly built "Smart Prize Distribution" engine, you only need to set up a single promo URL — the system automatically recognizes each customer's lifestyle profile or purchase preferences and instantly matches them with the surprise that fits them best.
Turning on "Reward by Audience" gives you the following advantages:
Differentiated marketing experiences: Based on the tags attached to each customer (for example, giving coffee lovers an exclusive coffee coupon), different users on the same promo URL can draw their own personalized prize list — creating a thoughtful sense of surprise.
Precision marketing and resource allocation: Match the right exclusive prizes and offers to the right audience, significantly boosting engagement and redemption conversion.
Seamless integration with your existing systems: The system pulls each user's latest tags in real time at login or entry, so the promo always reflects the user's current preferences.
Supported ways to define audiences
Depending on the module, the system currently supports the following ways to personalize prize distribution:
Reward by audience tag (standard modules): Segment audiences using customer tags synced from an external system (such as a chatbot or e-commerce platform).
Reward by quiz result (Personality Quiz module only): Assign prizes based on the final result type each customer gets. See Personality Quiz module setup guide
Reward by purchased item (Purchase Reward module only): Assign prizes based on the items on the receipt a customer registers. See Purchase Reward module setup guide

Before you start:
Confirm that your plan includes the third-party tag feature.
Complete the third-party platform setup in Sponsor Settings.
*Currently supported: MAAC, Omnichat, BotBonnie, Cyberbiz (more platforms coming soon)
Add your prizes first, then follow the setup steps below (Entry Eligibility must have login enabled for this feature to work).
Step 1: Enable conditional prize distribution in "Prize Rules"
Step 2: After enabling conditional prize distribution, select a tag source.
The dropdown will show the third-party platforms you've already set up in Sponsor Settings.
Step 3: Set up the reward mode and audience tags
Before setting up tags, first decide the prize distribution mode. There are 3 options:
Probability-based: Prizes are awarded according to the probability you set.
Works with: Lucky Wheel, Scratch Cards, Poke a Prize, Slot GameRandom selection: Prizes are awarded from the prizes you check. If you check multiple prizes, the system randomly picks one to send.
Works with: Lucky Wheel, Scratch Cards, Poke a Prize, Slot GameAward all matching prizes: Prizes are awarded from the prizes you check. If you check multiple prizes, the customer receives all of them.
Works with: Instant Win
After choosing a mode, click the edit button to open the audience segment setup screen.
The tag names you enter must exactly match the tag names in your external system (matching is case-insensitive).
We recommend keeping the number of tags to 10 or fewer, to make probability management easier.
After typing a tag name, press Enter to create it.
Important: If you're using the "Personality Quiz" or "Purchase Reward" module, the system automatically defaults to that module's own audience definition (by quiz result / by purchased item) once you enable this feature — you don't need to choose an external tag source.
Once your tags are set up, use the matrix to define how each tag connects to a prize.
For "Probability-based" mode: Set the win probability for each prize under every audience tag. The probabilities in each tag's column must add up to 100%. If a specific prize doesn't apply to a specific tag's audience, set that prize's probability to 0%.
For "Random selection" or "Award all matching prizes" mode: Simply check the prize(s) each audience should receive in the matrix. Matching customers will receive whichever prizes you checked (if you check multiple, the system will randomly send one).
Step 6: Set the audience rule priority
If a customer carries more than one tag at once (for example, both "coffee lover" and "tea lover"), the system evaluates tags left to right. In the example below, a customer with both the "coffee lover" and "tea lover" tags will receive the prize from whichever tag column comes first.
Step 7: Save and test your setup
Once you've confirmed the probabilities add up correctly (totaling 100%) and the priority order is correct, click Save. When testing, be sure to add the matching tag to your own account on the external system first — otherwise the test won't reflect the setup.
