Feversocial Platform | Facebook CAPI Integration Overview

🚀 Feversocial Platform | Facebook CAPI Integration Overview

💡 What is the Facebook Conversions API (CAPI)?

As platforms like Apple iOS tighten user privacy restrictions, the traditional approach of tracking user behavior in-browser through a Facebook Pixel installed on your page can no longer capture complete data, which seriously hurts ad attribution and accuracy.

The Facebook Conversions API (CAPI) is a solution that sends conversion data directly from server to server, letting it bypass browser or app privacy restrictions and keep your ad data complete.

✨ Why does the CAPI integration matter for you?

  • Get around privacy tracking limits: make sure you still capture key promo conversions even when iOS privacy settings have "tracking off" enabled.

  • Improve ad accuracy: with more complete and accurate conversion data, Facebook's algorithm can optimize your ad delivery more precisely, improving your return on ad spend (ROAS).

  • No duplicate counting: the Feversocial platform sends CAPI events and Pixel events in parallel — Facebook automatically detects and removes the duplicate events, so your conversion data stays accurate.

📊 CAPI conversion events supported by Feversocial

The Feversocial platform has two core conversion events built specifically for the promo flow, and sends them via the server directly to

Facebook CAPI:

When a visitor successfully completes the promo's interaction flow (like voting, taking a personality quiz, or uploading a photo).

When a visitor successfully submits the sign-up form in Step 3 of the promo setup.

🛠️ Feversocial Platform | Facebook CAPI Integration Setup Guide

To enable Facebook CAPI integration on the Feversocial platform, you'll need to complete two steps: get your token and set up the data integration.

Step 1: Get your Facebook Conversions API access token

This is a required credential for enabling the CAPI integration — keep it safe.

  1. Log in to your Facebook Business Manager.

  2. Go to "Data Sources" > "Pixels," then open the Events Manager.

  3. In the Events Manager, select the Facebook Pixel you want to configure.

  4. Switch to the "Settings" tab in the top navigation.

  5. Under "Conversions API," find and click "Generate access token."

  6. Copy the generated token. It's only shown once, but you can regenerate it any time if you lose it.

Step 2: Set up the CAPI integration in the Feversocial dashboard

Enter your Pixel ID and token into Feversocial's data integration interface.

  1. Log in to the Feversocial platform dashboard.

  2. Go to the "Data Integration" settings page.

  3. Click "Add" or "Add Facebook Conversion Tracking Webhook App."

  4. Fill in the settings:

    • Choose the event: select the event you want to send to Facebook ("Participated in interaction" or "Submitted form").

    • Choose the trigger scope: set it to "All promos," "a single promo," or "a single form."

    • Enter your Pixel ID: paste in your Facebook Pixel ID.

    • Enter your token: paste in the Conversions API access token you got in Step 1.

  5. Click "Save" to finish setup.

NOTE: Whenever a visitor completes the event you've configured, the Feversocial system will automatically send a CAPI event to Facebook via the server.

Step 3: Check event match quality (once your ads are running)

Once your ads have started running, go back to the Facebook Events Manager to check how CAPI is performing.

  1. Go back to the Facebook Events Manager.

  2. Check the "Event match quality" score to confirm CAPI is working correctly.

3. You can also view the "event overlap percentage." Facebook automatically detects and removes duplicate events coming from Pixel and CAPI.
