1. Create a Multi Challenge module
In the module list, click Multi Challenge under the "Mission Challenges" category
2. Choose Multi Challenge's login method
Note: to identify each participant, Multi Challenge and every mission promo linked to it must use the same login method.
3. Choose a level style
We currently offer four styles to choose from.
If you want a description field and a button, we recommend
(1) Vertical Card or (2) Horizontal Card. If you prefer a clean, minimal look, we recommend (3) Image Only. And if you have a specific visual layout in mind — like a "level map" — we strongly recommend (4) Custom Style, which lets your level markers blend seamlessly with your background map with much more flexibility.
Notes:
Vertical Card and Horizontal Card let you turn off the button, but you can't remove the level title field — if you leave it blank, that spot will show as an empty colored block.
Image Only doesn't support a title or button, but you can still set level description text, which pops up in a dialog before the user clicks through to the mission.
Custom Style offers the most flexibility, letting you freely move each marker's position — great for multi-level layouts that need a special background image (like a map or venue guide).
Don't worry — after picking a style, you can still switch to a different one later in the editor.
4. Add levels and choose which promo mission to link
Adding a level: Vertical, Horizontal, and Image styles
Adding a level: Custom Style
You can create a new promo directly from Multi Challenge, or link one you've already built in the dashboard (it must use the same login method).
5. Set up level info
Click the level card you want to edit to see 6 configurable settings
(1) Level icon
You can design separate images for "level incomplete" and "level complete" states
Recommended size: 600×600px (minimum), 1:1 ratio, under 3MB, PNG/JPG/JPEG supported.
Once set, you can choose whether to apply that visual to every level. If unchecked, you can set a different icon for each level's mission.
(2) Level description
Turn on "Show Description" to reveal a description field below.
Note: the description field has a 250-character limit
Once a level's description is turned on, participants who click that level's card will see a dialog first, with a button inside linking to the mission.
*Note: the "Go to Mission" button text is a fixed system string and currently can't be edited.
You can, however, change its color (go to [Promo Pages] -> [Theme Color] -> Button Color in the left panel)
(3) Level target
The level target is the number of times you want a participant to complete the linked mission promo
For example:
If the linked mission is a Survey, setting the target to 1 means completing the survey once
If the linked mission is Check-In, setting the target to 5 means accumulating 5 check-ins
If the linked mission is Purchase Reward, setting the target to 3 means registering 3 eligible receipts (remember to set the receipt verification mode to "Verify after entry" or "Real-time verification")
Q&A (1) and Memory Game (2) each have their own definition of "success"
[Count past mission entries]
If you want a participant's mission entries from before they claimed the challenge card to count, turn this on.
If you only want entries made after claiming the challenge card to count, leave this off.
(4) Custom click behavior
Link a level card to whatever URL you want to direct users to — or, if your promo URL is embedded in an on-site QR code, you can set the click behavior to open the camera. If nothing special is set, it defaults to the linked mission's promo page. It also supports opening in a new page, so users can tap back to return to the Multi Challenge page.
Custom click-through link — use case:
Say you've embedded the mission promo as a widget on a specific page of your website — you can set that page's URL as the custom link. This way, when a participant tries to complete the mission, they're directed to your custom URL first, and the level only counts as cleared once they complete the mission module found on that page.
(Remember to actually place the real mission entry point on your custom-link page! Otherwise customers won't be able to find it.)
(5) Edit level promo
Click this to jump straight to that level's mission promo in the editor
(6) Swap the level's mission
You can swap in a different promo using the same module — for example, a Check-In level can be swapped for a different Check-In promo.
You can still swap a level's mission after the promo is live (you'll need to pause Multi Challenge to do so), and swapping doesn't reset a participant's progress on that level. So if a level requires 5 completions and a participant had already reached 3 before you swapped the mission, they'll only need 2 more completions on the new mission.
If you chose (4) Custom Style in Step 3, level setup and display become far more flexible. Clicking a level marker in the editor gives you the usual info fields, plus these extra options specific to Custom Style:
Free-form marker layout
Unlike the fixed layouts of the other card styles, Custom Style lets you:
Drag and drop freely: Drag a level marker (the blue box) directly on the background image to align it precisely with a spot on your background.
Resize: Use the marker's edge handles to freely enlarge or shrink it to fit your visual design.
6. Design your Multi Challenge promo
You'll find the corresponding settings under [Promo Settings] in the right-hand panel of the editor
(1) Main visual background
Option 1: Text + default background
By default, the system combines text with a built-in background. If you like this look, you can simply adjust the background color scheme and the text (click the text block to edit it).
Option 2: Text + custom background
You can also design a background image that matches your theme, and use a text block to add your promo title on top of it.
Recommended image size:
Desktop & tablet: 2880 x 1200px; Mobile: 590 x 400px
Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF. Max file size: 3MB
Option 3: Image only
If you've already prepared a single main visual, you can clear the text block and switch the main visual's display mode to [Image]
Recommended image size: Desktop & tablet: 2880 x 1200px; Mobile: 590 x 400px
Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF. Max file size: 3MB
(2) Start button & view prizes button
[Start button]
The default style lets you adjust the text color and button background color — or you can switch to [Custom Style] and upload your own button image
Recommended button size: 480 x 112px. Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG. Max file size: 3MB
[View Prizes button]
Once turned on, clicking this button lets participants view the full prize list for both the "main Multi Challenge promo" and "every linked sub-mission" in a single window.
Recommended button size: 480 x 112px. Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG. Max file size: 3MB
(3) Level button
For (1) Vertical Card or (2) Horizontal Card style, you can choose whether to turn off the button

(4) Promo description
If you need to explain the game rules, use the mission description text block — you can enter plain text or upload an image.
Keep it short and clear so it doesn't take up too much space on the page.
If you don't need it, you can turn it off and the system will hide this block.
(5) Level order
By default, levels are arranged in the order you added them. Drag them up or down to reorder.
If you want participants to clear levels in a specific order (e.g. they must finish level 1 to unlock level 2), turn on "Require Sequential Order."
(6) Level layout
Level layout options vary depending on the card style you chose
Style 1: Vertical Card
Up to 4 per row on desktop & tablet, up to 3 per row on mobile
Style 2: Horizontal Card
Up to 2 per row on desktop & tablet, always 1 per row on mobile
Style 3: Image Only
Up to 6 per row on desktop, tablet, and mobile
More on Custom Style
(1) Main visual and background settings
When using Custom Style, the level background is the core of your design.
Recommended use: Upload a map, venue guide, or level path illustration.
How to set it up: In [Promo Settings] on the right, choose Level Background and upload your image.
Visual design tips
You can turn off the main visual and upload the level background directly instead — this removes the extra title block, letting your background map take center stage.
Try setting your level icons as animated GIFs! A blinking, bouncing, or looping visual grabs a participant's attention much more effectively, intuitively encouraging them to click into a level and making the promo more fun to interact with.
(2) Level layout: free mode
In Custom Style, the usual "N per row" limits go away.
Setup tips
While positioning markers, we recommend switching to mobile preview mode regularly to check that each marker is still easy to tap and precisely placed on smaller screens.
7. Promo report overview
(1) Participant List
Shows a de-duplicated list of participants and how many levels each has completed.
The Participant List also shows summary stats above it, including:
Sign-ups: number of people who clicked "Claim Challenge Card"
Participants: number of people who completed at least 1 level
Participation rate: Participants divided by Sign-ups
Average levels completed: the average calculated across all Participants
(2) Entry records
Shows every successful level-clear entry for every participant — if a participant cleared 5 levels, you'll see 5 entries here for them.
