[Feversocial System Guide — Shopline Merchant Edition]

[Common System Usage Questions]

What does "Member Login" mean under Entry Eligibility?

The Feversocial dashboard is already automatically integrated and bound to your Shopline store, so "Member Login" refers to your Shopline store's own member login system. In other words, you can use your promo to attract more people to become members of your store.

I can't click on the Shopline coupon prize type in prize settings

First go to Entry Eligibility settings, turn on login, and select "Member Login."

Only promos using the Member Login (store member login) type can use Shopline-exclusive prize types.

With this feature enabled, once a participant receives a prize, the system will automatically credit the coupon to their account.

What are the three types of Shopline account-credited prizes?

  1. Claimable coupon (see page 22 of the slide deck above for detailed setup)

- Each member can only claim this once, so it's best for one-time promos.
- This prize type doesn't work for promos designed to allow "one entry per day."
(If you need to distribute a coupon for a once-per-day promo, use multiple sets of unique codes instead — see page 26 of the slide deck above for detailed setup) Feversocial x Shopline unique code example

2. Member points (see page 23 of the slide deck above for detailed setup): once automatically credited, the points record can be viewed in the member's account

3. Store credit (see page 24 of the slide deck above for detailed setup): once automatically credited, the record can be viewed in the member's account

[About the free trial plan]

Does the free trial plan have an expiration date?

You must use it within 60 days of signing up for the Feversocial dashboard. The trial plan lets you launch 1 promo for free, running for up to 7 days, with no limit on the number of participants.

How are the 7 days calculated for the 7-day free trial plan?

For example, if your promo starts on 8/1, the latest end date you can set is 8/8.

Does the free trial plan limit which module types I can use?

On the free trial plan, you can choose any one module from the 20 we offer! The only one you can't use is the [Refer-a-Friend module].

Can a free trial promo be embedded on my store's website?

Since the widget feature requires a completed subdomain (CNAME) setup to work, we recommend just placing a banner on your site for your free trial promo, and linking that banner to the promo URL.

Once you purchase any paid plan, you'll be able to set up the subdomain feature — you can wait and set it up then.

Is there a limit on the number of participants for a free plan promo?

Promos launched on the free plan have no cap on the number of participants. You can use your participant count from this trial to help decide how many participants you'll need in a future plan.

Can I test a free plan promo before officially launching it?

Of course! You can create several promo modules, test the flow, and then decide which promo to spend your free plan's allowance on.

[How do I test a promo?]
While setting up your promo, just click the test button in the top right of the editor to test it! Generate a new test link each time you make a change — each test link is valid for 3 days, after which you'll need to generate a new one. Each test link supports up to 30 test entries; once you hit that limit, go to Manage Promo and delete the test records so you can keep testing.

*Note: once you launch a promo (by clicking the launch button), it uses up your free plan's allowance. Be sure to use the test feature to confirm your flow first.

I accidentally clicked launch — can I cancel it? Will my free plan allowance be refunded?

Once you launch a promo, the system automatically deducts it from your free plan allowance!

Please contact our support team to explain what happened — whether the allowance can be refunded will be decided by our support staff.
