Photo Contest, Video Contest & Photo Frame Contest (Submission + Voting) | Troubleshooting

Can a submitter edit or delete their uploaded entry themselves?

No — once a submitter uploads an entry, they can't edit or delete it themselves. If you want to give submitters a chance to make changes, we recommend turning on "Allow Multiple Entries" under "Entry Eligibility" and choosing "Unlimited Entries," so the submitter can upload a new entry while the original one is marked as rejected. Keep in mind that if voting is already underway, the submitter will simply lose whatever votes the original entry had already received.

Can I delete a participant's uploaded entry from the dashboard?

Yes — you can review participants' entries in the promo dashboard, and mark any entry that doesn't meet the requirements as "Rejected." The participant will then see a "

" label appear above that entry in their entry history.

I noticed an abnormal spike in votes during the promo — what should I do?

Go to Promo Management >> Manage Voting Promo >> Vote Check in the dashboard to inspect voters. Click into each entry to see its aggregated vote count and IP addresses — you can also download the voting data to check voter accounts and IP addresses against the rules stated in your promo terms, and decide whether to remove any votes. We provide the data for your review, but the final decision on whether to remove votes or revoke eligibility is up to you as the organizer! (Click here to see vote-manipulation guidelines)

Can I add new frame styles while the promo is already running?

Yes — just pause the promo temporarily, upload the new frames, then resume the promo.

What video formats are supported for Video Contest submissions?

Currently, only YouTube video links are supported for uploading, and the video's privacy setting must be changed from Private to either "Public" or "Unlisted" for the upload to succeed!

I set up daily voting, but a customer still shows as "already voted" the next day — why?

If you have a "sign-up form" turned on to collect customer information, customers need to complete the form again before they can vote a second time, so you can keep collecting information effectively.

How does the system determine when a person can vote again?

Regardless of what time someone voted the previous day, they can vote again once the clock passes midnight each day.

Can a customer vote without filling out the form?

If you have a "sign-up form" turned on, customers can skip it and vote for the first time. But when they come back to vote a second time the next day, they'll need to complete the form before they can vote!
