Step 1. Log in to GoDaddy and go to DNS management
Log in: Log in to your GoDaddy account.
Manage your domain: Find your domain product and click into the "DNS" or "Manage DNS" page.
Go to record management: Find the "Records" section.
Step 2. Add a CNAME record
Click Add: Click the "Add" or "+ Add record" button below the records list.
Select the CNAME type: In the "Type" field, choose CNAME.
Set the hostname (Name):
In the "Name" field, enter the subdomain name you want to use.
Example: If you want the URL to be events.yourdomain.com, enter events here.
Set the target address (Value):
In the "Value" field, enter Feversocial's target domain: proxy.fevercdn.com
TTL (Time to Live): We recommend the default value or a shorter interval (e.g. 600 seconds) so the DNS change takes effect faster.
Step 3. Save your settings and notify Feversocial
Confirm and save: Click "Save" to finish adding the CNAME record.
Confirm it was added: Check that your new CNAME record now appears in the DNS records list.
Wait for it to take effect: DNS propagation can take some time (usually anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours).
